Scope
This policy describes the current DuoWallpaper website. DuoWallpaper is an independent wallpaper site. You can browse previews and download files without creating an account.
Search and preview preferences
Search terms, category choices, and preview controls are processed in your browser. The site does not use an account database to store these preferences, and its application code does not set cookies or use local storage for them.
Search terms appear in the page URL as the q parameter. They can remain in browser history, be included when you share a link, and be sent to the hosting service when you open or reload that URL. Avoid entering sensitive personal information into the wallpaper search.
Website requests and hosting
Loading a page or downloading an image sends a request to the service hosting the website. That service receives connection information such as your IP address, requested URL, browser information, and request time. It may retain access or security logs according to its configuration and policies.
The current site has no registration form, checkout, advertising scripts, or analytics scripts. This does not mean that the hosting service receives no technical information about your visit.
Downloads and external links
Wallpaper previews and downloads are served from this site. The images were originally obtained from a third-party host, but viewing a preview does not require your browser to contact that original host.
Links to Apple or other external websites take you to services with their own privacy policies. Files saved to your device and your browser download history are controlled through your device and browser settings.
Your choices
You can clear your browser history, remove downloaded files, and remove the search parameter before sharing a URL. Disabling JavaScript leaves the original-image download links available, while interactive search and previews will be unavailable.
